調布市にあるオープン型保護シェルターでは、たくさんの猫たちが家族との出会いを待っています。その他にも保護犬や多頭環境に居ることが難しい猫は、個人宅で預かりながら里親募集をしています。

私たちは、ペットショップに並ぶ仔犬仔猫を産み出すための道具として働かされてきたり、病気や障害、時にはほんの些細な理由で売り物にならないからと産業のレールから外されたり、動物実験に使われてきたりなど、人間の身勝手に振り回されてきた犬猫たちの保護活動を行っております。

保護される前はどんなところにいたの？

ほとんどの場合、大変不衛生で細菌やウイルスの蔓延した環境で生活しています。満足にお水や食事を与えられず、陽を浴びたこともなければ、新鮮な空気を吸ったこともない、 優しく撫でられたことも、目を見つめて名前を呼ばれたこともない、そのような命の尊厳が微塵もない悲しい世界で過ごしてきました。

保護猫たちに血統書はありません。どこで生まれ過ごしてきたのか、生年月日もわかりませんし、名前があったのか、記号や番号で呼ばれていたのかさえわかりません。

ラフスペースではどんなことをしているの？

心身共にボロボロになった犬猫たちに、心のふれあいを通して大きな愛情を注ぎ、新しいご家族とのご縁をお繋ぎしています。また、病気や高齢などの事情で譲渡が困難な場合は終生飼養をしています。

保護猫たちが日々清潔な場所で安心して暮らせるよう、ボランティアの仲間で協力し食事や清掃のお世話をしています。またホームドクターと連携を取りながら適切な医療行為を行っています。

幸せになる切符を手にした犬猫たちを、あたたかくお迎えしてくださるご家族を募集しております。

命あるものの全てが、生まれてきてよかったと実感して、生きることができる社会を目指して！

About Laugh Space

At our open-style shelter in Chofu City, countless cats are waiting to find their forever families.
And for those who need a quieter space—like dogs and cats who struggle in group settings—we provide loving foster homes until the perfect match comes along.

We rescue dogs and cats who have been treated as nothing more than tools—forced to breed for pet shops, discarded for being sick, old, or simply imperfect, or subjected to painful experiments.
They are the silent victims of human convenience and cruelty.
At Laugh Space, we believe every life deserves love, dignity, and a second chance.

Where were they before being rescued?

In most cases, they lived in extremely unsanitary environments where bacteria and viruses were rampant.
They were deprived of clean water and food, never felt sunlight or breathed fresh air, never experienced a gentle touch, or had their names lovingly called.
They lived in a sad world where their dignity as living beings was completely ignored.

Rescued cats do not have pedigrees.
We don’t know where they were born or raised, their birthdates, or even if they ever had names—or were just referred to by numbers or symbols.

What does Laugh Space do?

We provide love and care to dogs and cats who are physically and emotionally broken, helping them connect with new families through emotional bonding.
For those who are difficult to rehome due to illness or age, we provide lifelong care.

Our volunteers work hand in hand every day to make sure our rescued cats live in a clean, safe, and comforting space—where they can finally relax and feel at home.
With the support of our trusted veterinarian, we also provide the medical care they need to heal and thrive.

They’ve endured the darkest chapters of their lives—and at last, Laugh Space has given them a glimmer of hope, a chance to begin again. Now, they wait with quiet hearts and gentle eyes, longing for a family to welcome them home with warmth, kindness, and love.
